Trust Wallet is a popular mobile cryptocurrency wallet that supports TRC20 USDT. Here is how to set it up and add USDT on the TRON network.
Step 1 — Download Trust Wallet
Download Trust Wallet from the App Store or Google Play. Create a new wallet and save your recovery phrase securely in an offline location. Never share this phrase with anyone.
Step 2 — Add TRC20 USDT
In the wallet, tap the icon at the top right to manage tokens. Tap Add Tokens and search for USDT. From the list that appears, select the version labelled Tether USDT — TRC20. Toggle it on to add it to your wallet.
Step 3 — Add TRX for Fees
Search for TRX in the same token list and add it to your wallet. You will need TRX to pay TRON network fees. TRX is only available on the TRC20 network, so no network selection is needed. Keep at least 15 TRX to cover multiple transactions.
Step 4 — Receive or Buy TRC20 USDT
Tap on your USDT TRC20 token and select Receive to get your wallet address. Share this address with the sender or exchange. To buy directly in Trust Wallet, use the Buy feature which connects to third-party providers.
